Mission Statement The US Lacrosse Greater Los Angeles Chapter Youth Development Program was adopted in September 2010 to introduce the sport of lacrosse at the elementary and middle school level to all Physical Education Programs in the Greater LA area. Our goal is to bring "hope" to youth through sport. Lacrosse is an exciting and fast-pace game that provides youth aged children with a unique opportunity to build exceptional character while developing athletic ability. Lacrosse teaches the values of determination, confidence, and courage. UPCOMING EVENTSFree Teacher Development Training

Help earn $500 for your team by recruiting a PE Teacher to participate in any of the Teacher Development clinics offered in April & May. The USL Greater LA Chapter offers Free PE Teacher Development Trainings so that soon the sport will be included as a PE unit at every school. The trainings include US Lacrosse PE Curriculum, Lesson Plans, and Free Equipment Opportunity. Requirements for Team Reward: 1) Each teacher that registers and was referred by a lacrosse program or team, that team will be entered in a raffle. The winning program will receive $500 from the USL Greater LA Chapter in June. To qualify, teachers must attend entire 2 hour training. 2) The 2 hour training clinics are open to all teachers. The prizes can only be awarded to programs/teams that are located within the Greater LA Chapter Boundaries, which include Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and LA Counties.
A flyer that can be circulated to teachers with all the information can be downloaded from the website or emailed to you.
